Our Story

Research Square Engineering Services started as an idea between the three founders Francois van Tonder, Erik de Groote and Maikel Schellekens and the Managing Director of Brabant Engineering, Sjef van de Laak.

We recognized the challenges in both the Netherlands market, and the geo-economic status of South African engineers. A strategic and fruitful partnership was formed in a single meeting in November 2022.

We officially started in April 2023 with 6 engineers, and currently have 18 full time mechanical engineers. Most of the engineers focus on the engineering process in the lithography sector in the Netherlands.
